Zdravo,

imam vprašanje. Že pol leta imam polar, ki mi je do sedaj dobro delal. Zdaj pa sem ga po enomesečni prekinitvi spet hotela začet uporabljat in ugotovila da mi ne dela senzor za hitrost. Ura ga sploh ne zazna. Ker se z uro še nisem kaj dosti ukvarjala, me zanima ali je možno da je prazna baterija ( na to me ni opozarjalo), napise mi samo, da naj preverim senzor, ko dam navodilo, da naj ga poišče, ga ne najde... kakšna ideja, predem uro nesem na servis?

Poleg že omenjene možnosti izpraznjene baterije, so S3 footpodi nagnjeni k še eni težavi. Citiram (sicer v angl.) s Polarjevega foruma:

-- Foot Pod --
If the sensor can not be found, maybe the foot pod doesn't have any power...so not transmitting! When I looked at how the battery makes contact with foot pod, there are two points of contact. The obvious one is a gold colored piece of metal that definitely comes in contact with the bottom of the battery (negative side). The other point of contact involves three little silver prongs that seem to connect to the positive side of the battery. If you look at the side of battery cover, you will see an area where the battery is slightly exposed...when you seat the battery cover into the foot pod, the three silver prongs should make contact with the battery in this area. I think you know where I am going with this.

-- The Fix --
Very carefully and without much force, I bent the two outer silver prongs to assure contact with the battery. Worked perfectly.

-- Corrective Action (for Polar) --
I think it's a poor design considering the price of unit and the fact that the battery will need replaced often. These mating areas should be more reliable/error free. Polar has a good reputation so I'm not bashing. As Forrest Gump says, "It Happens".

Hvala obema.
Baterijo sem že preizkusila in kupila novo, pa mi še zmerom ne dela. Kontakte sem pa tudi gledala in na roko pritiskala baterijo ob njih, ampak nisem pa vedela, da morajo biti tisti v stiku s pozitivno stranjo! Bom to poizkusila danes, drugače gre pa ura na servis...
