UNESCO Cities Marathon is the only marathon in the world that connects two sites belonging to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Cividale del Friuli, the old Longobard capital, and Aquileia, the important Roman center, exactly covering the 42 kilometers of the marathon. This edition will take place on March 26, 2017, starting from Cividale del Friuli, crossing Palmanova, fortified city in the form of a nine-pointed star, to finish in Aquileia. Live with us forty-two kilometers faster than ever, in the heart of one of the most beautiful and hospitable regions of Italy.

. Padec konstanten do Palmanove, potem pa se ne izgublja vec visine v zadnjih 16 km. Vsa tri mesta pod UNESCO-m. Kljub padcu trase se to ravno ne obcuti ... oz. verjetno noge vseeno to malo zaznajo
