Me prav zanima ce boljse lovi kot 301.
The GPS system is designed to receive information from satellites in orbit. At any one time, 12 satellites are on the same side of the earth as you. The more satellites the transceiver can acquire information from, the greater the accuracy of that information.
Please note: We have specifically designed this product to help it work in city, forest and other environments where the view of the sky is not perfectly clear. First of all, the GPS antenna is very sensitive. It will function in environments where most units will not work. Secondly, because this unit is designed to track speed and distance with a high degree of accuracy, it delivers accurate data when other GPS products would fail. However, there will be times where a thick tree canopy, or tall skyscrapers, or a particularly dark and stormy sky will be thick enough to impede or reduce performance.
The GPS Transceiver needs to "see" the sky to receive data from the satellites. To operate accurately it needs to see three satellites. Therefore, the unit is designed to operate best where there is a clear view of the sky. Sometimes, among tall buildings, or in a heavily wooded forest, the signal from the satellites will be blocked. Try synching the unit where you can see open sky in four directions. Once the unit has located and synchronized with satellites, it will perform better.
When you turn off the transceiver, it remembers the location of the satellites it was using when you turned it off. It "memorizes" this stored information and uses it to quickly link with those same satellites the next time you use the unit. However, if you have traveled a long distance with the unit off, or if you turn on the transceiver indoors, the unit will begin scanning the entire sky again, looking for satellites. Scanning the sky for satellites takes longer than looking in a known location.
Generally speaking, the GPS transceiver synchronizes with satellites within 30 to 45 seconds.
Accuracy of the Timex GPS and GPS 3D System is as follows:
Distance Data accurate within 1% of the total distance measured (mean error)
Positional Data accurate within 15 meters (50 ft) 95% of the time
Altitude Data accurate within 30 meters (100 ft) 95% of the time
